also contains hydroxyl propylcellulose, polyoxyl hydrogenate castor oil, sodium acetate, menthol, peppermint oil, isopropyl alco hol and water.

b*ACTIVE INGREDIENTS*b
Crosodyl Dental Gel contains 1% w/w chlorthexidine gluconate (equivalent to 5% v/w Chlorthexidine Gluconate solution Ph Eur )

Keep out of the eyes and ears, If contact occurs wash promptly and thoroughly with water.
Not intended to be swallowed.
Accidentally swallowing this product is unlikely to cause harm. However if you are concerned, consult your doctor.
For oral use only.
Avoid bleaching any fabrics that have been in contract with the gel, as brown stains may develop.
No special precautions are needed if you are pregnant or breast feeding but as with all medicines you should consult your doctor before using.
Toothpastes may stop Corsodyl Dental Gel working properly if used immediately after the. To prevent this, use toothpaste first or at a different time of the day and rinse your mouth thoroughly with water before using Corsodyl Dental Gel.
Corsodyl Dental Gel may cause some discoloration of the tongue and teeth but this is not permanent and disappears after treatment is stopped.
Tooth staining can be prevented by brushing daily with a conventional toothpaste and rinsing the the mouth thoroughly with water before using Corsodyl Dental Gel; avoiding tannin-containing food and drinks (e.g.tea, coffee, red wine) for at least one hour after using Coorsodyl Dental Gel. However in some cases, a simple scale and polish by your dentist or hygienist may be necessary to remove the discoloration completely.
Dentures may be cleaned with a conventionaI denture cleaner.
You may notice a change of taste or a burning sensation on the tongue when you first use the gel.
These effects usually go away as you continue to use the product.
Occasionally the gel may cause skin irritation.
Very rarely allergic reactions may occur. If you are concerned by these or any other unwanted effects, stop using the medicine and consult your doctor or dentist.
Do not use if you are sensitive chlorhexine or of the other ingredients listed on this carton.
